La Chataigneraire is a beautiful old school building dating back to 1860. For many years it served as a boarding school for young girls, as well as a refuge for soldiers and musicians. The estate is surrounded by a large garden with natural swimming pool and the wooded surroundings are ideal for taking long walks.
Facilities
La Chataigneraire offers a diverse range of rooms and spaces. The grand living is furnished with a large table and a cosy lounge area around the fire hearth, and accommodates small to middle sized groups. The smaller, restful sitting room is suitable for more intimate one-on-one conversations. Moreover, a number of tastefully furnished bedrooms are available for overnight stays, as well as a charming bathroom.
